Did you know..

Did you know that the word 'Spa' originated from the Roman words 'Sanus Per Aquam' which translates to 'heath through water'. I never thought a spa had such a good meaning behind it!!

oh,i thought spa was a spa,as in a new word to the english dictionary,lol,guess i really didnt think abt it....

No kidding! When I was 8, I saw this sign near a swimming pool that said SPA and decided that it meant "Swimming Pool Area". I guess guessing is not my forte! ;)

It's interesting to study the origins of words..sometimes they are truly surprising and lend so much more meaning to the word!
